Facilitation Skills Use Case Studies or Scenarios:

Your brain will experience a spark that will help you generate facilitation ideas!

  • Case Studies and Scenarios are a great way to facilitate discussion whether it is face to face or in an online chat box. Remember, people love sharing their opinions because there is no wrong answer! It is just an opinion.
  • Vicki Halsey’s book will help you generate activities and engaging discussions.
How to Measure Informal Learning You get a wealth of knowledge on measuring informal learning. We found some great articles to share.Tip: Qualitative data is important too! Ask your Trainees to share their testimonies on how they think they have grown. Ask for examples of their work. You will be surprised at the amount of change that has occurred!
Instructional Design for eLearning You get access to some great tools and brilliant minds!

  • I love reading the Rapid E-Learning Blog because Tom inspires me to create and to be creative whenever I create any course.
  • Prezi is a great tool that lets you think outside of the PowerPoint “Box”! You can use it to map out storyboards for e-Learning courses or use it to present to your audience.
  • Dan Roam and the creators of CommonCraft inspire me to think visually. Sometimes a spark is all we need to start drafting a storyboard for a course.

You get to read inspiring stories that encourage change, techniques to help coax change and a book that explains why change is so hard.
